Audience Feedback

I collected some audience feedback about my completed thriller about what went well and what could maybe be improved upon. This feedback helps me to reflect and make my thriller to its best ability, as well as not making general errors in future.

Overall, my feedback was good, with a couple of helpful comments on how to improve it. My first title is too fast to see on the screen, so this needs changing so you are able to read it, some of the radio effects are muffled and you cant hear what they are saying, however from my audience feedback I found out that this actually created more tension, as it creates narrative enigma as the audience are questioning the narrative and what the police radio is saying. This sound being unclear can represent the police women as still unclear on the murder and what happened, this is apparently a good technique as the footage is continuously sparking questions for what the whole thriller would entail.

The fast flashing images were a good idea and made the thriller much more powerful as the continuously flashing black and white footage creates tension and suspense as the thriller progresses.
Sound was also effective, instead of just adding music to the back, I added the police radio effect to add more depth. This effect also helps the audience guess the occupation of Amy, and that what she is doing in the first 3 minutes of the clip is something police related.
Another good point that was given is the printed out pictures and articles on the table, my audience thought that this was effective as you are able to see clear images from the scene, both uploaded as an image and video footage behind.
